Do I need Bridge to use my Trezor?

Some apps and browser setups use Trezor Bridge to communicate with your device. Trezor Suite may offer a direct connection option, depending on your platform and browser.

Does Bridge store my coins or recovery seed?

No. Bridge is a communication service, not a wallet or custodian. Your crypto remains on the blockchain, and your private keys and recovery seed remain protected by your Trezor. Never share your recovery seed with a website or support agent.

My browser can’t see my Trezor. What should I try?

Check that Bridge is installed and running, reconnect your device with a data-capable USB cable, and close other apps that may be using it. Then refresh the supported web app and approve any connection prompt on your Trezor.

Where should I download Bridge?

Use the official releases link in the setup guide above. Confirm you’re on github.com/trezor before downloading, and avoid installers shared in messages or unofficial websites.
